Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vega mobile application and the website at heyvega.in (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Vega ("we," "our," "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, joining the Founding Members waitlist, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vega. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the Service. By using Vega, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it updated. Notify us immediately at heyvegaapp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliation with a gym
• Post content that is harassing, abusive, defamatory, or sexually explicit
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission
• Falsify QR check-ins or otherwise manipulate streak or attendance data

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Gym Owner Terms

If you register as a gym owner, you additionally agree that:

• You have the legal authority to operate the gym you register on Vega
• You are responsible for the accuracy of roster information (member names, mobile numbers, payment data) that you input
• You will use member data obtained through Vega solely for legitimate gym management purposes, and not for unrelated marketing or resale
• Public posts you make on Vega must comply with the same Acceptable Use standards as member content

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Vega (photos, posts, comments). By posting, you grant Vega a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of operating the platform (e.g., showing your posts in the social feed).

You are solely responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the rights to share it.

7. Intellectual Property

The Vega name, logo, app, and website design are the intellectual property of Vega. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our branding or platform without our written permission.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting heyvegaapp@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Vega does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vega shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Vega is a community and management tool — it is not a substitute for professional fitness, medical, or business advice. Use gym equipment and facilities at your own risk and in accordance with your gym's own safety guidelines.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
